We are the Flamank Law Society!

Named after famous Cornish lawyer Thomas Flamank, leader of the 1497 Cornish Rebellion, we are proud to represent Law students on Penryn Campus. No matter what stage of university you are at, our committee is keen to provide you with the best possible support, guidance, and most importantly: fun!

There are many benefits to joining our society- we host regular networking events, socials, mooting and other great opportunities to help develop your legal skills and confidence (without just attending lectures!).

As your committee, we would love to hear any suggestions you may have that would improve your university experience, so please contact anyone from the team or our society email and we will do our best to make it happen.

Our Aims

As your Penryn Campus Law Committee, we are determined to provide you with the best possible university experience.

Our aims are:

To offer a variety of networking events e.g. host lectures, informative talks and discussions related to different legal areas.
To host a range of social events giving you the opportunity to mix with other students from different years and disciplines.
To improve opportunities for aspiring barristers by expanding Mooting and making use of our brand new Mock Courtroom.
To be approachable, easy to contact and listen to any suggestions or queries you may have that will make your time at university even more enjoyable.
